Feasibility Stages Report

Appraisal and strategic briefing: Work stages A & B

We undertake project appraisal duties as specified in (work stage A) of RIBA’s publication: The Architect’s Plan of Work. “The purpose of Work Stage A (Appraisal) is to clarify the project objectives and determine the best way of proceeding. If studies confirm that a building project is appropriate the key targets are set down in Work Stage B in sufficient detail to allow the subsequent design and construction phases to be carried out efficiently and cost-effective”

Where in work stage B we work with our client to prepare the strategic brief on behalf of their client confirming key requirements and constraints; Identifying procedures, organisational structure and range of parties to be engaged for the project.

Dependent on the level of instruction we provide services amount to or include the production of a complete feasibility study report. The report is to indicate whether the project is viable and clearly marks any particular steps to be taken to achieve project objectives. Upon this report client can proceed with the project.

The preparation of the report may require site visits, surveying, etc.
